Rezoning, not renaming, Interstate

With all the anguish created by the five men on the Council not following the law on the process for renaming a City street, neighbors may have missed the fact that the Portland Development Commission and Planning Bureau are working on plans to rezone property near Interstate Avenue.

In today’s Tribune, Lee Van der Voo writes another well-researched piece, on the rezoning process. It’s a short summary, but also includes contact information for City staff working on the project, if you’d like more details. Check it out.
