Finally! An airline shows some common sense

AOL Travel reports that Southwest Airlines is experimenting with having families with small children board last, instead of first. I always remembered humorist Dave Barry’s comment, in the days when I traveled with little ones. He said the plane should be out on the runway ready to take off, before a ferry delivers the families with children to take their seats. I never took advantage of the call for early boarding with ours. Why would anyone want to be in a plane a second longer than necessarily, let alone with squirmy children?
