Wishing Tree

Steve took the fire jam photographs I’ve been posting all week here in Portland, but this one is from Burning Man. Participants hang papers or trinkets with their hopes on the Wishing Tree. I think it’s interesting this woman is bundled up – it can get chilly in the desert, especially soon after dawn.
