Plan for the next 10 days

OK, here’s the plan for this blog through July 3rd. As previously mentioned, Steve, Luke and I are taking off for the National Parks of Utah, Arizona, and California, when Steve gets home from work in a couple of hours. I’m taking my laptop, and Steve is taking his camera. Two able assistants will be staying here in Portland, just a cell phone call away, should anything require my attention, and I’ll be checking e-mail from each evening’s motel.

So, for the next few days, this blog will change from being the Amanda Fritz “Portland-plus” blog, with occasional Steve Fritz photographs, to being a showcase for Steve Fritz photographs. Tomorrow morning’s is from the files; the rest will all be from our trip. With occasional prose in between, either with pre-scheduled topics or if I find time to blog on the road. We’re hoping to be able to upload photographs every evening; I will set them up to be posted intermittently over the work day, partly to let each one be appreciated, and partly as a blatant attempt to maintain my daily Visits statistics.

This coming Tuesday, there may be blog outages as the amazing Lynn Siprelle, Fairy Blogmother extraordinaire, switches the site to a new server. Please try back if at first you don’t succeed in connecting.

If everything goes as planned, I will be back blogging live from Portland by Independence Day.
