Quick links to Charter change language….

… you know, the information that should be in the Voters’ Pamphlet, and isn’t, to tell citizens exactly what’s being proposed:

All linked pages are in pdf format

Measure 26-89 : Periodic Charter Review

Note: There is no current Charter to compare with; this is a proposed new/added section.

Measure 26-90 : Civil Service changes.

Note: The new language is all underlined in the first section, the current Charter shown all deleted afterwards, so it’s very difficult to see what’s changed, added, and deleted. Please persevere.

Measure 26-91 : Form of Government. Eighty pages long, with additions and deletions shown. Please persevere.

Measure 26-92 : Portland Development Commission governance changes.

Eight pages, with amendments shown. Even though many people have only a vague understanding of what the Portland Development Commission does, please persevere.

After all, it’s our city’s Charter and Constitution.

Quick links to my No on 26-89, No on 26-90, No on 26-91, and No on 26-92 summaries.
