Lockdown at Wilson High School

My daughter just called, and told me Wilson High School was in lockdown at lunchtime. She says the students were told it was because of “someone trying to kill themselves” in the neighborhood. She doesn’t have much in further details, but believes the suicide attempt was not successful. I don’t see any coverage on the KGW, KATU, or KOIN web sites.

I find it sad that she took this as a routine event. And that it is, for a child growing up in the 1990s and 2000s.
