Windmills at Burning Man

As I said yesterday, I plan to post summer photos for the rest of the week, to bring some warmth to these cold days. Camping in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert for the week of Burning Man is about as hot as most people get. Steve is now one of their official photographers, having been participating since 1999. Some of his photos are featured in the 2006-7 calendar.

In visiting the Burning Man site, I see this year’s theme is “The Green Man”… humanity’s relationship to nature. Perhaps it’s a good thing I have plenty of green face/hair/body paint stocked up for Ducks and Wilson High School football games.
