Nice rack
Site traffic has tended to fall off a little on weekend days. Apparently many readers check my Current News/Opinions updates during the work week, then understandably spend less time at their computers on Saturdays and Sundays when there are real people to interact with, and funner things to do/see. So this post is both a flagrant attempt at manipulation of the trend, and eye candy for those choosing to visit with me today.
Steve took the day off yesterday, and delivered many beautiful photographs into my file for use on the blog. The one above is perhaps not the best in technical merit from his visit to Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area, rather the one showing the elk with the biggest antlers. Elk facts and an oh-so-cute elk baby picture here.
This one captures the Elk Refuge scene better:
In case you’re wondering why I’m not out doing the aforementioned interacting and fun things: I’m still feeling not-so-good. And Steve is cleaning the garage. Blogging…. help with cleaning the garage….. tough choice.
I finally figured out how to use the scheduler function of my site, so on future days when I’m going to be busy I can cue up posts in advance. The caveat with that is that as a novice, I make lots of html mistakes. If you happen to notice something gone awry with the format of the site, and it doesn’t get fixed within a few minutes, please drop me an e-mail to notify me. Likewise, if you spot a typo in your comment after you’ve posted it, and you’d like me to edit and fix it, send me an e-mail and I’ll gladly do so.
