Signs of the times

We have some creative authors here in Portland. Some of the best, and most unrecognized, are those who can make a point in 15 words or less. Spotted on business reader boards on my drive home from taking my daughter to school this morning:

Further truth in advertising, from the 8 a.m. BBC World News on 89.9 AllClassical.org:
The reporter was talking about increased international aid to Afghanistan with a view to stabilizing life there. Apparently some dignitary announced the goal is to “make the government” [list of other virtues, and]“as little corrupt as possible”. Realistic, if not measurable.

I wonder how citizens would know if their government had achieved that goal.
