Mt Jefferson winter sunset

We used to go to Kah-nee-ta at least once a year, when our children were younger. The three-hour drive is long enough to be an excursion, short enough to be feasible for a day trip. We always continue along Highway 26 to Warm Springs, taking the second signpost to the resort rather than following the first. It’s a little longer, but the views of the mountains, like this one, are worth it.
