Torridjoe’s comment on the Sit-lie ordinance post below, and his reference to Rocket Poetry, Israel Beyer’s excellent site which I had not previously discovered, reminds me to publish a link to Street Roots* and invite you to join me in donating to their Winter Fund Drive.
You can bet business is down for Street Roots vendors during this weather. The newspaper is always a good read, and 70 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to the salesperson working hard on the streets.
