Double Falls, Silver Falls State Park

Silver Falls State Park is located 75 minutes from Portland, 25 miles east of Salem near Silverton/Mt.Angel, on Highway 214. It is the largest state park in Oregon with over 8,800 acres, according to this neighbor’s web site. Ten waterfalls, lovely hiking trails, and overnight camping even in winter make this park a good destination for a family outing or group event.
