Sometime early on Wednesday morning this week, the 100,000th visit to this blog was logged. I’m happy people are interested in reading the posts I’m interested in writing. And/or enjoying Steve’s photographs with me.

Length of the A340-600 Airbus that Lufthansa will fly into PDX this morning. It’s the longest commercial airliner, and visits here are very out-of-the-ordinary.

Number of days left in the Portland Public Schools student academic year, as of 7 a.m. this morning. This is the fifteenth (and penultimate) consecutive year I draw a sigh of relief and look forward to more flexibility in our family’s schedule.
