Poets’ Day

Fridays, particularly those before a holiday extended weekend, are known in some parts of Britain as “Poets’ Day”.

Happy Poets’ Day – not that I’m suggesting any of my readers are slackers heading out before 5. I hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend. I’m excited for the Ducks’ home opener tomorrow, our neighborhood barbeque on Sunday, and the union picnic at Oaks Park on Monday… all hopefully followed by Steve’s return from Burning Man late Monday or on Tuesday. It’s been a delightful summer for our family, and I hope it’s been likewise for yours.
